Magdalena Trucco (1986) creció en San Jorge, Provincia de Santa Fe, actualmente vive y trabaja en Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Estudió Diseño de Indumentaria en la Universidad de Buenos Aires y realizó un Posgrado en Ambiente y Desarrollo Sustentable en la Universidad Católica Argentina. Asistió a diferentes talleres de pintura, dibujo y cerámica, y desde 2014 forma parte de la clínica de arte y taller de Diana Aisenberg, colaborando también en el colectivo KDA (Kiosco de Artistas).
Participó de exposiciones colectivas en Coral Contemporary Gallery, US, Microgalería, Buenos Aires, Argentina; Galería Amistad, Beccar, Argentina; entre otras. En 2023 realizó su exposición individual “Awakening Garden”, en Coral Contemporary Gallery, Miami, Florida, US, galería que actualmente representa su trabajo. Y en 2024 la muestra “Aguacielo” en Microgalería, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Sus proyectos también incluyen murales realizados para el Centro de Interpretación, Fundación Rewilding Argentina en “Parque Patagonia Azul” (Bahía Bustamante, Chubut) y “Parque Patagonia” Portal Cañadón Pinturas (Perito Moreno, Santa Cruz).
Durante sus años como diseñadora trabajó cercanamente con artesanos en el desarrollo de piezas de joyería, tejidos, bordados, calzado, marroquinería e indumentaria.
En línea con su formación de posgrado, entre 2017 y 2024 desarrolló un proyecto de productos sustentables que obtuvo el Ideator Award otorgado por OpenIDEO y Ellen MacArthur Foundation.También resultó ganador de “Ciudades Resilientes” otorgado por Fundación Avina-BID Lab.

Magdalena Trucco (1986) grew up in San Jorge- Santa Fe, and currently lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
She studied Fashion Design at the University of Buenos Aires and completed a Postgraduate Degree in Environment and Sustainable Development at the Universidad Católica Argentina. She has attended various painting, drawing, and ceramics workshops, and since 2014 has been part of the art clinic and workshop of Diana Aisenberg, also collaborating with the KDA collective (Kiosco de Artistas).
She has participated in group exhibitions at Coral Contemporary Gallery, US, Microgalería, Buenos Aires, Argentina; Galería Amistad, Beccar, Argentina, among others. In 2023, she held her solo exhibition "Awakening Garden" at Coral Contemporary Gallery in Miami, Florida, US, a gallery that currently represents her work. In 2024, she presented the exhibition "Aguacielo" at Microgalería in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Her projects also include murals created for the Interpretation Center of the Rewilding Argentina Foundation in "Parque Patagonia Azul" (Bahía Bustamante, Chubut) and "Parque Patagonia" Portal Cañadón Pinturas (Perito Moreno, Santa Cruz).
During her years as a designer, she worked closely with artisans in the development of jewelry pieces, embroidery, knitted items, footwear, leather goods, and clothing.
In line with her postgraduate studies, between 2017 and 2024, she developed a sustainable products startup that won the Ideator Award granted by OpenIDEO and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation. She also won the "Resilient Cities" award, given by the Avina Foundation-BID Lab.
